Hi! I’m Peter Kingma
I guess that I am pretty passionate about anything that I do, and photography has probably been the culmination of that side of me. I first picked up a camera in 1985, and I still have one in my hands every single day.
I have been fortunate to not only have travelled extensively worldwide, but also to have worked and lived on multiple continents, and this has made me look at the world - and myself - differently.
People, and their endless diversity fascinate me, and the creativity of controlling every nuance of light and shadow on faces and bodies in a studio has captured my attention and commitment like few other obsessions in my life.
I believe we offer more than just a great studio headshot - we offer a unique and personal experience customised explicitly to your needs.
These days, I am focused on capturing faces in my photography studio in Atlanta - seeking to bring out every emotion and expression that I can reveal there, and exploring the flattering interplay of light and shadow to show that person’s energy and personality in the best manner possible. To this end, I mainly use state-of-the-art constant-light LED panels for lighting your professional headshot in my studio. There really is nothing comparable for bringing out the best in skin tones, eye colour and simply uncovering the beauty that lies in every face.
